Abstract
Twenty eight full feathered (nana) and 28 naked neck (Nana) free range reared indigenous Bangladeshi chickens were slaughtered at 30, 45, 60 , 75, 90, 105 and 120 days of age. The featherless body area and vario us meat yield characteristics were recorded. The Nana had 2.4, 2.6, an d 5% unit higher breast meat, dark meat and total meat than that of na na birds. The Nana had 20% unit more featherless area than, in nana. T he males were superior to females in all meat yield parameters.
