Abstract
Ascaris lumbricoides is the most common roundworm in warm and temperat e areas. Although radiological features of Ascaris lumbricoides are we ll defined, there are only a few reports on the ultrasonographic findi ngs of intestinal ascariasis. In our two patients with no acute abdomi nal symptoms, intestinal ascariasis was initially diagnosed by abdomin al ultrasonography. In both patients, tubular structures in the segmen ts of the small intestine were demonstrated by ultrasonography.
