Abstract
X-Ray diffraction technique was used for estimating the size of the pl astic strain zones on fatigue fracture of D16 aluminum alloy under asy mmetric loading cycles. The effect of loading mode on the macroscopic fractographic features of the fatigue fractures is discussed.
