Abstract
An analysis of the wave propagation in a rectangular waveguide contain ing pseudochiral Omega slab is presented in this letter. Approximate c ontinuity conditions modeling a thin Omega plate are introduced to sim plify the analysis. The problem is solved by the mode-matching procedu re. A notable field displacement phenomenon appearing in the guide owi ng the pseudochirality properties is studied. Other feature such as a weak perturbation of the dispersion characteristics of the isotropic g uide by pseudochirality introduced into the medium is also discussed.
