Abstract
Substituted-3H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-ones 7b-d were prepared from 2- amino-3-iodopyridine derivatives 3b-d by palladium carboannulation pro cess with allenic compounds and then oxidative cleavage of the exocycl ic carbon-carbon double bond.
