Abstract
Calix[6]arenes bearing N,N-dalkylaniline units or m-phenylenediamine u nits were synthesized to capture C-60 in organic solution: the associa tion constants (7.9-1.1 x 10(2) dm(3) mol(-1)) were the largest values obtained so far, indicating that calix[6]arene acts as an excellent p latform to facilitate the cooperative action of the donor groups.
