Abstract
With Maxwell-displacement-current-measuring method, the phase transiti ons of phospholipid monolayers of L-alpha-dilaurylphosphatidylethanola mine (DLPE) and L-alpha-dimyristoylphosphatidylethanolamine (DMPE) on a water surface were detected. Some fine features, such as the first o rder phase transition from gaseous to the polar ordering phase and the polar ordering of lipid molecules in the solid phase coexisting with fluid, were revealed for the first time.
