Abstract
Analysis of skewed memory schemes for parallel implementation of Kohon en's topological feature maps are presented in this paper. It is found that linear skewing is more general and more effective for this probl em as compared with other memory skewing schemes. Implementations on p arallel machines and performance results will also be presented.
