Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of new vinyl chloride-p-acryloyloxy azobenzene copolymers are reported. Kinetics of photoinduced trans-cis and thermal cis-trans isomerization of azo pendant groups in copolyme r have also been investigated, and the kinetic parameters were evaluat ed. An azo acrylate model compound was used for comparison.
