POSSIBILITIES OF WATER SAVING IN POLAND

Is it possible to save drinking water in urban areas in Poland? How mu ch can be saved? How will the introduction of water saving measures in Poland affect future investments within the sectors of water supply a nd wastewater? Answers to these questions will be found in a study rep ort prepared al the request of two Polish Ministries. The main result of the study is a developed approach. which can be used by local autho rities to clarify the questions for their own supply area. This articl e presents an outline of the results of the study.
