Abstract
Several chiral naphthylacetic acids have been prepared and evaluated a s chiral derivatizing reagents for chiral alcohols. Fluorinated acids provide good general HPLC separations of chiral alcohols, especially 1 ,2-diglycerides. The separations and the F-19-NMR shift differences of pairs of diastereomers are documented.
