Photoelectric magnetic field measurements of the star HR 1094 reveal t
hat it possesses a fairly strong magnetic field. The effective longitu
dinal field varies between -2200 and 600 gauss. Until now, it was not
known whether this star was an Ap star that possessed some HgMn-like a
bundance anomalies or vice versa. The presence of a magnetic field cle
arly indicates that it is a magnetic Ap star.
