Abstract
The Paper opens with a description of the constraints imposed by a tun nel project. The organization of train deliveries using rails in the t unnels, for the transport of personnel as well as equipment is detaile d, and the techniques employed in the removal of spoil, including pump ing, are outlined in the final paragraphs.
