Abstract
The terminal supports all the facilities required by the tunnel user, and those necessary for the management, the maintenance and safety of the transport dimensions and functions, it is comparable to a major in ternational airport. After having defined the functions of the infrast ructure, this Paper looks into the studies that preceded its completio n. It also discusses the works carried out on a soil with limited bear ing capacity. A section is devoted to the civil engineering structures and the installation of the railways.
