Abstract
The relationship between need for achievement (n-Ach), entrepreneurial effectiveness, and satisfaction are examined for a sample of 220 Jord anian entrepreneurs in the context of a conceptual framework formulate d based on existing literature. The results are discussed in the conte xt of McClelland's (1961) economic growth framework. Finally, policy i mplications for Jordan and businesses seeking a global competitive adv antage ave explored.
