Abstract
We have observed dark decay rates in BaTiO3 crystals at elevated tempe ratures that correspond to dark decay times as long as 2200 years at r oom temperature. Our investigations have shown that cerium is a desira ble dopant in BaTiO3 for enhancing the dark storage time. (C) 1996 Opt ical Society of America
