Thermal diffusion factors, alpha(T), are reported at 300 K for nine bi
nary systems consisting of helium and a fluoroethane. The data are ext
rapolated to zero pressure to test the approximate theory of Oost et a
l. for the pressure dependence of alpha(T). The zero pressure values o
f alpha(T) are used to predict the temperature dependence of the binar
