Abstract
Two new phases with I-c = 14.70 Angstrom. and 12.55 Angstrom were obta ined by interaction of potassium with stage 1 and 2 CuCl2-GICs at 200 degrees C. The following sequences of layers are respectively: K\CuCl2 \K\CuCl2 and K/CuCl\K\CuCl.
