Magnetization measurements under pressure of 0-10 kbar have been carri
ed out on GIC's with CoCl2 (stage 1), NiCl2 (stage 2), MnBr2 (stage 3)
, CrCl3 (stage 3) and biintercalated CrCl3-CoCl2 (pseudo stage 1). For
the three former ones the ordering temperature T-c increases with inc
reasing pressure in agreement with the smaller interlayer distance and
the corresponding J' increase. However, for GIC's containing CrCl3, a
n unexpected decrease of T-c is observed.
