Abstract
Dissolution of steel in the iron nitrate-nitric acid-water ternary sys tem has been investigated at various temperatures and rates of feeding the liquid phase. The compositions of nitrogen compounds formed and t heir ratios in the gaseous phase have been determined at various tempe ratures and concentrations.
