Abstract
We present point contact tunneling studies on single crystals of (Y1-x Prx)Ba2Cu3O7-delta (X less-than-or-equal-to 0.5) with T(c) varying fro m 92 to 30 K. Superconducting pp features are clearly seen in undoped YBCO but the Pr-doped systems do not show any trace of such features. Based on our results we point out that gapless superconductivity in Pr -doped YBCO system arises due to strong pair breaking effects associat ed with magnetic scattering.
