Abstract
We report a case of inadvertent transarterial permanent pacing of the left ventricule that was not diagnosed on routine chest radiography or EGG. The malposition was diagnosed because of the rupture of the mitr al valve cordage 2 months after pacemaker implantation. We emphasize t he radiographic appearance of this rare malposition.
