Abstract
A crystallographic theory has been proposed that takes into account an elastic matching of the polydomain (twinned) phases and allows to pre dict an evolution and interchange of three phases in perovskite-type f erroelectric single crystals. A diagram connecting these phases with t he possible domain structures and their reconstruction has been discus sed.
