A mixture consisting of completely interfering and non-interfering bea
ms, or completely interfering and partly interfering beams in an X-ray
interferometer is studied. X-ray interferometric experiments on the m
ixture of blocked/non-blocked beams and attenuated/nonattenuated beams
showed good agreements with the calculations. A new parameter of the
mixing ratio as well as the phase difference of the oscillations are i
ntroduced in the representation of the wave held. Poincare: sphere des
