Abstract
Experimental use of a metallic stapler in tracheoplastic surgery is de scribed. In contrast to monofilament sutures, the technique permits no ntraumatizing tracheal repair and may therefore be advantageous in cli nical treatment for lesions of the cervical and the intrathoracic trac hea.
