Abstract
The correlation equations between Kovats retention indices of n-alkene s and n-alkynes, column temperature and number of carbon atoms in mole cules of these compounds on OV-101, OV-225 and PEG 20M capillary colum ns have been calculated. The two variable equation I = A + B . n + C/T give a good fit and are the simplest for practical use.
