Abstract
Ab initio MRD-CI calculations have been carried out on 19 electronic s tates of NaHe and on the ground state of NaHe+. Potential energy curve s, radiative transition probabilities and lifetimes of the excited sta tes of NaHe are presented. Most of the excited states of NaHe have typ ically Rydberg potentials, resembling that of the ground state of NaHe +. The results show several possible Rydberg transitions which might b e observed while pre-dissociation by rotational-electronic coupling is negligible.
