Abstract
The full width at half maximum is sometimes used to characterize the a utocorrelation function of the time history of a speckle pattern. We p ropose to include more autocorrelation points to diminish the variabil ity of the measurement. The width of the equivalent rectangle (WER) an d the XLOG X measurements are defined and some simulations and experi mental results obtained are shown.
