Abstract
The mechanism of variance of moment of inertia in the fermion dynamica l symmetry model is investigated. It is shown that the heritage mixing is indeed the major factor causing the variance of moment of inertia in well-deformed nuclei, but the scheme of the mixing and the form of heritage mixing interaction are important to discribing the phenomenon .
