Abstract
The structures of two new cembranoids, sinulariol E (1) and mayolide E (2), isolated from the soft coral Sinularia mayi, were derived from t he spectroscopic data and by chemical correlation; application of the pyridine-induced deshielding effect, for the H-1 NMR study of the cemb ranoid allylic alcohol system, is described.
