Abstract
Four factors emerged from factor analyses of items developed to measur e perfectionism. Scales based on these factors were used to explore po ssible differences between perfectionistic clients in counseling who e ither did or did not consider their perfectionism to be problematic. T hese results and their implications for counseling are discussed.
