Abstract
Nanocrystallized cobalt clusters embedded in a copper matrix exhibitin g giant magnetoresistance have been revealed by scanning force and fri ction microscopy. The microscopic images reported here should be impor tant to understand the magnetic properties of these novel systems. (C) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
