Abstract
The disproportionation of (C2H5O)(3)SiH and CH3SiH(OC2H5)(2) using DMF or THF as the solvents in the presence of KF(and 18-crown-6) was stud ied and the effects of catalyst system, temperature and solvent on the disproportionation were discussed, The results showed that KF/18-crow n-6 is a good catalytic system for the disproportionation of hydroalko xysilones, the solvent and temperature affect obviously the reaction.
