Abstract
In this paper (Part II) and in an eariler paper (Part I, R. Stolevik, J. Mol. Struct., 291 (1993) 59) an additive scheme for estimating conf ormational energies in halogenated alkanes has been developed. The agr eement with existing gas-phase observations is good. Extension to high er alkanes and to branched alkanes are straightforward. Computations a re easily done by hand.
