Abstract
The structure of the extracellular cyclic (1 --> 2)-beta-D-glucan secr eted by Rhizobium tropici CIAT 899 has been studied by methylation ana lysis,D-1 and D-2 NMR experiments, HPLC and FAB-MS. Molecular mechanic s (MM2) and theoretical (3)J(HH) coupling constants calculations were performed.
