Abstract
The system PbFe0.5Nb0.5O3-PbSc(0.5)Nbo(0.5)O(3) is investigated using differential thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. Differential scan ning calorimetry is also used to study the ferro-paraelectric transiti on occurring in the solid solution formed by the two starting compound s. Order-disorder phenomena are shown to be involved in the interpreta tion of the results obtained during this work.
