Abstract
A seven-parameter harmonic out-of-plane force field for the s-trifluor obenzene-h(3) molecule is constructed, utilising two accurately measur ed fundamental frequencies, namely the nu(15)(a ''(2)) and nu(16)(a '' (2)) parallel bands in the mid-IR spectrum of the molecule. Internal f orce constants, symmetry force constants and normal coordinates are de rived.
