Hydrogen and phosphorus magnetic resonance measurements have been obta
ined for mixtures of tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) + chloroform, TBP + b
enzene, TBP + water, and TBP + 1-butanol at 295.15 K, and phosphorus m
agnetic resonance measurements for the binary mixture of TBP + n-hepta
ne at 293.15 K. These results suggest that both solvation and aggregat
ion occur in TBP mixtures.
