Abstract
Androstenes bearing a cyclopropyl group attached to the C-17 beta posi tion with a heteroatom linker, designed as mechanism-based inhibitors of steroid C-17(20) lyase, were found to be potent, time-dependent inh ibitors of this enzyme.
