We have examined how the type of data on the fractional composition of
debutanized gas condensate and the selection of a state equation can
influence the prediction of the phase state of a natural condensed gas
mixture. We have attempted to have the fractional composition of the
mixture as found by single-pass evaporation approach that revealed by
fractional distillation. The advantage of the vacancy quasichemical eq
uation of states over the Redlich-Kwong-Soave equation in the calculat
ion of phase equilibria has been shown.
