Kinetic peculiarities of photoinitiated radical polymerization of some
oligoester acrylates in the presence of copolymers of butyl- and meth
yl methacrylates with methacrylic acid were studied. It was found that
the hindering of molecular mobility in these systems, caused by the i
ncreased content of copolymer in the polymerizing layers, initially lo
wers the efficiency of the inhibitors of radical polymerization and th
en decreases the rate of chain propagation. The changes in the kinetic
parameters of polymerization occur at the mobilities of reactants cha
racterized by rotational correlation times of a spin probe (2.2,6.6-te
tramethyl-4-oxopiperidinooxy) in the range from 4 x 10(-10) to 8 x 10(
-10) s.
