Abstract
The reaction of methyl methacrylate with low-molecular-mass polyphenyl silane H[Ph(H)Si]H-x (x = 6 - 10) leads to graft copolymers [Ph(H)Si]( m)[PhSi(CH(2)CMeCOOMe)(l)H](n) with short methyl methacrylate side cha ins. IR, H-1 NMR, and UV spectra of the prepared graft copolymers were studied as well as their reactions with NaOH, CCl4, and Cl-2.
