Abstract
Effects of polarization and alignment of the deuteron on the polarizat ion and cross section of the out-going nucleons in deuteron photodisin tegration have been investigated for low- and medium-energy gamma rays . Meson exchange currents and relativistic effects are included and th e numerical calculations for the Paris potential are carried out. A co mparison with the published results of Arenhovel and Schmitt is made.
