COMPARATIVE-STUDY OF THE HEMOGRAM - QBC V ETAUTOREAD VERSUS MANUAL METHODS

Results obtained by the QBC VetAutoread were compared with results obt ained by the manual methods. Good correlations, were observed for hema tocrit, hemoglobinemia and leucocyte count in dogs, cats and horses an d for platelet count in dogs and cats. In addition, QBC VetAutoread as sessed the reticulocytes count in dogs and cats and eosinophils count in dogs. The results obtained were in good agreement with the results obtained by manual methods. The QBC VetAutoread, the use and the maint enance of which are very easy, can be profitably used in veterinary cl inics.
