M. Benmouna et al., STATIC AND DYNAMIC LIGHT-SCATTERING FROM MULTICOMPONENT POLYMER MIXTURES PS PDMS/PMMA/TOLUENE/, Acta polymerica, 47(1), 1996, pp. 29-34
The static and dynamic scattering properties of multicomponent polymer
mixtures are examined starting from the theoretical formalism based o
n the random phase approximation (RPA) for multicomponent polymer mixt
ures in the presence of a low molecular weight solvent. The results ar
e compared with the light scattering data reported recently by Strazie
lle and coworkers [1] for polystyrene/polydimethylsiloxane/polymethyl
methylate/toluene mixtures. The present paper is an extension of the w
ork published recently by these authors [2] and considers data obtaine
d from several concentrations of PMMA. It also includes a discussion o
f the dynamic properties which are obtained by quasi-elastic light sca
ttering.
