Abstract
New monomers, quaternary ammonium salts, have been obtained by reactio ns of N-dimethylaminoalkyl acrylamide with epichlorohydrin, allyl chlo ride, and ethylene chlorohydrin. The influence of amino amide structur e on the kinetics of quaternization has been demonstrated using alkyla tion by ethylene chlorohydrin as an example.
