Abstract
Anabolic steroids remain popular among body builders and power athlete s despite numerous warnings about their side effects. A case of sponta neous rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament is reported in a bodyb uilder taking steroids. While there are many published reports of tend on rupture associated with steroid intake, the authors could find no r eport relating to ligament disruption.
