Abstract
Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma is a variant that shows some peculiarities in comparison with classical chondrosarcomas. On the basis of a case r eport on a young man with a mesenchymal chondrosarcoma of the maxilla, the clinical symptomatology and diagnostics, morphological findings a nd actual therapy are discussed. In addition, problems of differential diagnosis are also discussed.
