Sw. Kelly et al., SYNCHRONIZATION EFFECTS ON PROBABILITY OF PULSE-TRAIN INTERCEPTION, IEEE transactions on aerospace and electronic systems, 32(1), 1996, pp. 213-220
Expressions for the probability of coincidence between pairs of pulse
trains are examined. The application to systems of interest in the fie
ld of electronic warfare is emphasized, Theoretical results for the li
mit of uncorrelated pulse trains are reviewed and new theory is develo
ped to cover the case of coincidence between uniform pulse trains wher
e the coincidence phenomena may be highly correlated, Monte Carlo expe
riments show that increasing the jitter level on one of the pulse trai
ns causes a transition between the correlated and uncorrelated regimes
