Abstract
This lecture summarizes our recent investigations in folate analogue c hemistry which have resulted in the synthesis of several extremely pro mising chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of solid tumors. Much of this work has been published previously; this review lecture is co ncerned with some of the chemical developments of interest In the fiel d of heterocyclic chemistry.
